Frequently Asked Quesiotns
- Will the beer stay cold?
Yes! We include keg koozies and a jockey box to keep your beer cold for up to 8 hours. For longer events, just add more ice to both the koozies and the jockey box.
- Where can I place the bar?
Anywhere on private property with a flat, level surface — indoors or outdoors. Just make sure you have permission from the property owner.
- Do I need a permit?
If you’re on private property, you just need the owner’s permission. For public or non-private venues, check with the venue to determine if a permit is required.
- Can guests pour their own beer?
Absolutely — that’s what the bar is made for! Our easy-pour taps reduce foam and are guest-friendly. Just confirm with your venue that self-service is allowed and doesn’t require licensed bartenders.
- Does the bar leave any marks?
Only minimal — like flattened grass. Nothing permanent or damaging, and far less than a vehicle or trailer would leave behind.
- How many kegs do I need?
We’ll help you figure it out, but here are some quick guidelines:
- Estimate 1–1.5 pints per person per hour
-
For 50 beer-drinking guests at a 4-hour event with heavier consumption (1.5–2 beers/hour), you’d need 300–400 pints — or about 3 half-barrel kegs.
